The Dream Recorder

This is an interface idea I had for a device called the Dream Recorder. The Dream Recorder is an imaginary device I envision that people can wear while they sleep. During sleep, all brain patterns are recorded and converted into actual audio/video frequencies. This means that we can archive and play back our dreams to share and learn from.
How exciting!

I imagine this day will come sometime in the future, hopefully within my lifetime. I feel the nature of people's dreams hold alot of subconscious answers about ourselves and life in general. With the Dream Recorder we will be able to unlock the potential of our dreams and make ourselves more whole, enlightened individuals. Plus wouldn't it be cool to have actual footage of yourself flying around in your dreams??

Private Screening

Private Screening is a website and an event that Tri-C hosts annually. The purpose of this event is to showcase students works in the Visual Communications field, with works ranging from video, interactive media, and print media.

In the Fall of 2007, our class, which was self-dubbed, "Team Web 2" had the privilege of redesigning the site for the college. As a class, we all were to work directly with the client representative for the site, and use their feedback to come up with appropriate concepts, layouts, and designs for the site.

The area I contributed was the "About Us" page. This page shows the entire class who worked on the Private Screening redesign, and includes fun bios and photos. Be sure to check out the wacky rollovers! The Private Screening site is up and running, so stop by and check out the great work!

Materialism Documentary

My goal is to create an interactive documentary that emotionally sways the viewers one way or the other. I hope that after viewing my piece you will re-examine how you spend your money in your life. The beauty of the age we live in allows us all to live however we deem most satisfying to our needs and wants.

Just don't forget that there are bigger and better things out there than money and possesions. As long as we fail to realize that, we will never find those bigger and better things that ultimately make us better, more whole people.

Flash Sampler

This is a fun interactive piece that pretty much demos everything that Flash is capable of. Im including it because I like alot of my illustration and animation work involved.
Ultimately it is something I can look back on and see how far I've grown with the program.  But also it serves as a nice digital 'how-to' just in case I forget any of the techniques showcased within.
